Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

To provide you with secure access to our Web Trading Terminal and REST API, we collect the minimum necessary data to maintain operations:

• Account Data: E-mail address and name during OAuth authentication (such as Google Sign-In) or registration.
• License Data: Active billing plans, Stripe checkout logs, and unique API access tokens.
• Optional Data: Custom variables like Discord usernames (if entered by choice for Discord integration).
• Sign-up Source: Where the visit that created your account came from (the referring site, the page you landed on, campaign tags, a partner's code), the time zone your browser reports and whether it was a phone or a computer. We use it to see which channels and regions the service works for.
• Purchase Steps: Which steps are taken between looking at the prices and paying: the pricing section seen, a plan button pressed, the payment page opened or left, a trial started. They are recorded with your account when you are signed in, and with nothing that identifies you when you are not (no cookie, no IP address and no browser details are stored with them). We use them to find where the sign-up or the checkout fails people, and delete them after 13 months.
• Clicks: Which buttons and links are pressed on our pages and in the terminal, and what is changed on the chart (timeframe, layers, mode, market): the button's name or where the link leads (the address of our page, or only the site's name for a link elsewhere), the page and the part of it, and the market and timeframe in view. Not what you type, not where the mouse goes, no screen recording. Recorded the same way as the purchase steps: with your account when you are signed in, and with nothing that identifies you when you are not (no cookie, no IP address and no browser details are stored with them). We use them to see which parts of the site help and which are ignored, and delete them after 90 days.
• E-mail Opens & Clicks: Our e-mails about the service (the digest, price alerts, trial and offer e-mails; not sign-in codes, receipts or refunds) contain a 1×1 picture, and their links pass through ampeld.com on the way to the page. That tells us, per e-mail, whether it was opened and which link was followed. We store the times and the kind of mail app (for example Gmail or Apple Mail), not your IP address or browser details. We use it to see which e-mails are useful and to stop sending the ones that are not, and delete it after 13 months. To avoid it, turn off pictures in your mail app, or turn the e-mails off in the dashboard or with the unsubscribe link in each one.
• Terminal Usage: For signed-in accounts, which market, timeframe and data type the terminal loads, and when (no mouse or screen tracking). We use it to see which features help, to send you the markets you follow, and to answer support questions. Anonymous visitors are not recorded in it; what they press is only counted, without identifying them (see Clicks).
• Analytics Data: If you accept analytics cookies, anonymized usage statistics (pages viewed, device and browser type) collected via Google Analytics. No analytics run until you opt in.
• Market Requests: When you ask us to add a market, we store the ticker, where on the site you asked, and a one-way hash of your IP address (to count distinct requests, not to identify you). An e-mail address is stored only if you enter one; it is used once, to tell you the market was added, and is deleted after 180 days.
• Calculator Inputs: Values entered into the free market calculators are processed locally in your browser. Ampeld does not receive or store your account balance, risk percentage, entry, stop, target, leverage, position size, margin, or calculated result.
• Sign-in Codes: When you sign in by e-mail, a one-time code is kept for 10 minutes, with a short-lived count of attempts, to stop guessing.
• Affiliates & Business Enquiries: If you apply to our affiliate programme or send a business enquiry, what you enter in the form (name, e-mail, company, channels, message). For approved affiliates also the referral code, click counts per day and channel (no visitor data), commissions, payouts and payout details (stored encrypted).
• Feedback: If you answer the one question in our trial e-mails (what stopped you from keeping live data), your answer and any comment you add, linked to your account, so we can improve Ampeld. The same for the one-click question on the pricing page after a checkout you did not finish (linked to your account only if you are signed in).
• Server & Security Logs: Our servers log requests (including IP address, time, page and browser type) to keep the service secure, stop abuse and fix errors. Logs are kept only as long as needed for that, and counters used for rate limits expire within a day.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data is processed strictly for the following operational needs:

• To verify valid active software license subscriptions and authenticate access to terminal servers.
• To securely process payments and subscriptions through our certified partner, Stripe.
• To deliver high-priority service announcements, billing updates, or critical network status alerts.
• To send account holders e-mail about the service they signed up for: price alerts for markets on their watchlist, a daily or weekly digest of those markets' levels, trial reminders and occasional offers. Every such e-mail has a one-click unsubscribe link, and the digest can be set to off, weekly or daily in the dashboard.
• To count which buttons and links are pressed (see Clicks) and, with analytics consent, to measure aggregate calculator use in Google Analytics, without financial inputs or calculated results.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Parties

We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third-parties. Your information is only shared with trusted service providers strictly necessary to execute operations:

• Stripe: For credit card payment processing and subscription billing.
• Google OAuth: For secure passwordless identity authentication.
• Google Analytics: For anonymized, consent-gated usage analytics (IP anonymization enabled). Loaded only after you accept analytics cookies.
• Zone Media OÜ (Estonia): For sending our e-mails (sign-in codes, receipts, alerts, digests) and for our mailboxes.
• Hosting: The website, API and database run on servers operated by Advanced Solutions OÜ in Estonia.

Stripe and Google may process data outside the EU/EEA, including in the United States. Such transfers rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. We may also disclose data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights in a dispute or against fraud.

5.Cookies & Consent

We use essential local storage to keep you signed in and remember your active license. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are strictly optional and load only after you click “Accept” on our cookie banner — you can decline with no loss of functionality. Clearing your browser storage resets your choice.

Partner links. If you arrive through a partner's (affiliate's) link, such as ampeld.com/r/name, we keep that partner's code in a first-party cookie (ampeld_ref) for 60 days, so that the partner is credited if you create an account and you get their extended trial. The cookie holds only the partner's code, nothing about you, and is not shared. If you sign up, your account records which partner referred it; the partner sees only anonymous numbers (for example “Customer 3 started a trial”), never your name or email address.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures (such as SSL/TLS encryption, secure database networks, and tokenized API authorizations) to safeguard all captured metrics and ensure that your data is fully protected from unauthorized access or disclosures.

6b.Our YouTube Channel & YouTube API Services

We publish our own short videos on YouTube (youtube.com/@ampeld) using YouTube API Services: our server uploads each video to our own channel and reads our own channel's statistics (views, watch time, likes, subscribers gained) to see which videos are useful. We do not use YouTube API Services to access, collect, store or share any data about you or about other channels or viewers.

We store only the IDs of our own videos and our channel's aggregate statistics; the statistics are deleted after 30 days. When you watch our videos on YouTube, the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy apply. The access our server holds to our own channel can be revoked at any time on the Google security settings page (security.google.com/settings/security/permissions).

7.Age & Changes to This Policy

Ampeld is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has given us data, tell us and we will delete it. We may update this policy; the date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell registered users about material changes by e-mail or on the website.
